How to understand the employer's perspective when you apply for a job

WORKSHOP: How to understand the employer's perspective when you apply for a job by Daniele Prociba

A candidate's expectations of what they ought to do can be far apart from that of a prospective employer. Daniele Prociba has seen hundreds of candidates fare much less well in the process than they should have done, simply because they were not able to understand the process from the employer's perspective. It particularly harms candidates unfamiliar with the industry, from other cultures, or without personal networks of people who are already industry insiders. It's one of Daniele's missions in life to help address that unfairness. He wants to share and explain the employer's perspective, so that applying for jobs becomes less like trying to understand the workings of a black box.
