Speaker 1: Welcome to DjangoCon Europe 2021, online for the second time. We are very happy to have you here. Hopefully, you all know us from last year. I'm David, together with Miguel We had a bumpy start again, but here we are. I hope you enjoy our selection this year. We have excellent content. We also have some news this year. Speaker 2: everyone, so welcome to DjangoCon Europe 2021 again. I hope you'll have a wonderful time in here. I'll explain a little bit on how the conference will run. So stay stay tuned. So if you need any type of help, don't hesitate to contact us on support in in our Slack channel or at support at loudswarm. com. We have a code of conduct that you can check online. So you have the URL there, but basically be kind, behave professionally, and make this a welcoming event for all. If you got any concern whatsoever, don't hesitate to contact these people

Speaker 2: on Slack. So you probably have seen this on Twitter, but we have these wonderful t-shirts. I'm not wearing mine because it gets messy with the background, as you can see. But if you are more curious, you can check them on the side. Just click on the menu on the left menu within LoudSwarm. And they have free shipping, they are organic materials. and uh it's fully customizable. They 're really, really nice. This year we'll also have a a gather town, so for a virtual cocktail and hanging out and bringing some of the forgotten social parts from the conferences

Speaker 2: to the virtual world. You have like a Pokemon character, you walk around, you can meet our sponsors, you can talk between each other. You have some cool Easter eggs. So As always just go in the menu on Loud Swarm and you can check that out. It's really, really cool. And here's a little preview of our world within uh Gathertown. So the keynotes will have a duration of 60 minutes and uh 15 minutes of QA on JT. You'll notice like down there there is a button to to go to the Git room. So after each talk, you just need to press that and you'll open the window where you can uh talk with the speakers.

Speaker 2: The talk will have 30 minutes of duration with 15 minutes of Q<unk>A. And then we also have the workshops with 15 minutes of the duration. On Saturday and Sunday, we'll have the sprints.
